Program Courses

Our courses consist of 8 or 9 weekly classes of program practices. You will be supported in sharing experience of, and discussing these, within the student group.

Daily home practice is as important a part of the course as the weekly classes. You will be asked to commit to 45-60 minutes daily, six days a week, between each class.

To benefit, you need to be able to commit both to coming to all the classes (including orientation session and practice day where applicable) as well as the daily home practice. This requires a strong commitment on your part to work through a gentle but rigorous daily discipline of meditation and other awareness exercises.

Our Program courses help develop skills in listening – to self and others. They help manage everyday ups and downs, giving a fuller experience of life, as well as developing self-compassion. They offer skills to work more effectively with anxiety, depression, stress, chronic illness and pain, addictive behaviours, disrupted sleep, and other unhelpful behavioural patterns.

All our teachers are trained with specialist skills in a range of areas.

Do I believe that there is truth at my core child within?
Do I believe that the truth at my core is more powerful than the lies that were imposed upon me?
Can I accept that I am meant to become truethful and connected ?
Do I believe that I have the capacity for awakening?

The controversial suggestion was that watching gruesome videos and images online at home could lead to the same types of symptoms most associated with combat veterans. The stories were triggered by a study released earlier this month by Dr Pam Ramsden, a researcher at the University of Bradford. Ramsden surveyed 189 people about their reactions to a range of events. She found that more than a fifth of respondents scored high on clinical measures of PTSD from seeing pictures on social media - even though they hadn't experienced the traumatic events f...

Puraline spontaneous resting activity discovered in the cortex of newborn infants called the stream of consciousness

Newborn infants(the puraline) fulfil some criteria of being conscious i.e. being aware of the body, the self and the world. They are able to differentiate between self and non-self touch, express emotions and show signs of shared feelings. They process sensory impressions including pain at a cortical level. They remember rhythmic sounds and vowels which they have been exposed to during foetal life.
